Tricia says her previous corporate experience, "allows me to offer big picture perspectives to the start-ups and/or small businesses and conversely, allowing me to interject simpler solutions to larger companies that may have lost perspective- all as needed."

Tricia is continuously expanding her knowledge by taking part in webinars, following the accounting industry trends, continuing education seminars, and holds several certifications. She is an AIPB and an ICB USA Member. She is an Advanced Certified ProAdvisor with Quickbooks and adds to her already expansive knowledge base. 

"I’m equipped to handle everything from establishing a business from the ground up (paperwork-wise)," Tricia adds, "to implementing a growth plan or a debt reduction plan, or implementing new work flows and procedures in times of growth, as well as supporting different business transitions."

Clients come to Compton Business Solutions for help adding/removing partners, entity changes, dissolutions, etc. The services provided are limited only by the extent of the client's personal preference. Some clients need Tricia to manage their accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting functions, compiled in Monthly Financial Reports. For others she may do all of that and also be a resource for their HR matters, prepare and file their business and personal taxes. Essentially handling all aspects of their business accounting and administration.

Not only does Tricia offer a multifaceted variety of services but her clients trust her with more confidential aspects of their business, like financing and loans. She shares an example, "It’s not unusual for the banks to contact me when our mutual client is seeking a loan. My clients love this, they know the bank is adhering to their rules and regulations for funding while I am watching out for my client’s bottom line. I used to regularly be called in to negotiate on a client’s behalf in all contract matters. They were not good at it themselves and recognized this, so they requested that I handle those matters until such time they felt they were ready."
